Our People
Nature Data Lab operates as a virtual research organization made up of Fellows, Research Associates, and Technologists working across five continents. In 2025, we supported the work of 27 individuals and have identified new fellows for the 2026-2028 time frame. This brilliant and diverse group of people cover a wide array of disciplines, from ecology and conservation biology to remote sensing and mathematical economics. Fellows are supported to conduct research they deem critically important for the advancement of our understanding of the natural world, and to the application and development of sophisticated knowledge products for decision makers organized by NDL's four Program Areas.
